Our bowls take you all across Asia. Japanese, Korean, Chinese and Indonesian cuisine and seasonal ingredients are offered. Available for both dine in and take away.

Groups

Team event, wedding reception, business dinner … you name it. We are happy to open our doors for groups of 15 or more, even during our closing times.

Who

Bowls is a concept by the brothers Siu, inspired by their father’s cooking career, who have been running The Great Wall in Kortrijk for over 35 years. Bowls is the result of their father’s teachings.

Kwan Juk

Kwan Juk is a real “food and beverage expert”. He studied at the Hotel Schools Spermalie in Bruges and “Ter Duinen” in Koksijde. Since an early age Kwan Juk felt attracted to everything related to food & drinks. He is a certified sommelier, cook, patissier, chocolatier and hotel manager.

Kwan Hi

Kwan Hi lived and worked in Asia for over 10 years. He now uses his knowledge in Asian cuisine together with his younger brother in their new concept Bowls. Due to his continuous hunger for innovation, Kwan Hi regularly develops new dishes and is constantly exploring new cooking techniques.
